A truly breathtaking great-room – the entire fifth level (over 1000 sq.ft) is a stupendous great room with a 180-degree view of virtually uninterrupted ocean splendor. Huge picture windows, cavernous vaulted ceilings, luxurious seating areas, a secluded loft, a gas fireplace, half-bath, and a wet-bar looking right out on the ocean. Completely surrounded by stunning decks with panoramic views of the beach and ocean and accessing the upper hot tub.
Five king-bedroom suites – each bedroom is strategically designed to allow a view of the ocean from the bed. Yes, you can gaze at dolphins jumping through the breaking waves while still lying in bed! Two of the king suites have their own 2-person Jacuzzis, and two also have immediate access to hot tubs
Full amenities in every bedroom suite – each of the eight bedrooms has its own full bath, its own walkout deck area, and every bedroom has its own wall-mounted TV, DVD player, and both hard-wired and wireless internet access.
Sleeps 24 – the eight bedrooms include five king beds, one pyramid, two sets of bunk beds, and two single beds. In addition there is a queen sleep sofa in the exercise room, and another queen sleep sofa in the game room. And lastly, a futon in the loft on the seventh level.
A kitchen impossible to imagine – every beach vacationer knows the kitchen is the center of the vacation universe, so we made it vast, with three discrete areas – a storage/preparation area (2 huge refrigerators and separate pantry, all next to the elevator for easy shopping/trash access); a cooking area (2 ceramic-top stoves, 2 huge built-in microwaves, 2 coffee-machines, 2 toasters, 2 blenders); a serving/cleaning area (2 separate large sinks, 2 dishwashers, 12-ft breakfast bar, and cooled wine cabinet). There are vast quantities of cabinets and drawers stocked full of every dish, pan and utensil possible – and loads of them. The kitchen even has its own walk-out deck to watch the sunsets. And the kitchen is right next to the banqueting area with immense dining table that can seat up to sixteen!
Another kitchen - yes, another full kitchen on the first floor with cook-top, microwave, dishwasher, sink, coffee-machine, large refrigerator, ice-maker, smoothie-maker, blender, with a 7-ft wet-bar and stools conveniently accessed from the pool and lower hot tub.
One of the best pools on the beach - a huge 37 ft custom, concrete, gas-heated pool with mosaics, tons of pool furniture, stainless gas grill, outside speakers, and 2 outside showers.
Two hot tubs – each seats 7 adults. One on the first level with direct access to the pool and lower kitchen, the other on the very top deck so you can watch the waves, see the moon rising over the ocean, or lie-back and gaze at the stars. Hot tubs have outside speakers connected to the main stereo systems.
Separate exercise room – located on the fourth level it has an exercise bike and home-gym with weights, TV, DVD, and a comfortable sofa sitting area.
An ultra-equipped office – sequestered far from the madding crowd on the fourth level, with two separate desks each with its own computer workstation, a quiet reading area, and a networked laser-printer with copier, fax, and scanner (also networked to a third computer workstation on the sixth floor)
Fast communications – high-speed cable internet is Ethernet hard-wired to all rooms PLUS wireless internet is throughout the house. There are two telephone lines, and unlimited free US and international long-distance calling is provided. The house has two separate digital TV cable boxes, and a full intercom system throughout the house.
Entertainment systems – two state-of-the-art home theater systems each with 50-inch flat-panel LCD screens. These are located in the fifth level great room and the first level game room. Both systems are built in above corner fire-places, with ultra surround-sound powered speakers. Each system includes DVD, VCR, high-power receiver, digital cable receiver. The sound systems are also connected to outside speakers at both hot tubs and the pool area.
Elevator – the large elevator includes stops immediately outside the handicapped bedroom and directly into the kitchen
Game room extraordinaire – an enormous game room occupying almost the whole first floor, with pool table, home-theater, sumptuous living room with fireplace, a full kitchen and wet bar, game table, PlayStation, all themed as “The Cavern” from Beatles fame!
Other features – enormous areas of beautiful ceramic floors, huge outside storage rooms, a large laundry room with two sets of washer/dryers, under-house parking with separate access to the house shielded from the elements, large concrete parking areas.
Handicapped equipped – ramp from the parking area, elevator to the large handicapped-equipped bedroom and bathroom with roll-in shower and 3-ft doors.
Bikes – a whole array of traditional beach bikes in many different sizes, with aluminum frames and stainless spokes. Bike helmets in every size, repair kits, pumps, all housed in a huge under-house shed.
It should be clear from all this that Here Comes the Sun is a unique fusion of a multitude of discrete “areas” – a compendium of retreats within a retreat. Areas for partying, banqueting, relaxing and playing. And areas for solace, exercise, slumber, and study. We recognize that the pleasure of a great reunion with friends and family is enhanced not only by those amenities that allow you to enjoy sharing time together, but also those that allow you solitude, just to read, reflect or catch up on business. This is an exclusive cul-de-sac, and Here Comes the Sun is sequestered far at the end, way away even from the one-backs, with immense space in front and of course nothing but ocean behind.
